Couto Veterinary Consultants provides expert clinical consultation and second opinions via email, with follow‑up by telephone or videoconference as needed. Each consult includes up to three follow‑ups and may address Greyhound medicine consults, veterinary oncology consults, and pet cancer consults for both dogs and cats.
Consultation includes evaluation and assessment of digital cytology or glass slides, cytograms from in-clinic hematology analyzers, or digital radiology images (radiographs) from a single site. It does not include evaluation of advanced imaging, such as CT or MRI (please refer to Level 2 and 3 consults). No medical advise will be provided.
Consultation includes review of medical records and lab reports for a single office visit, and simple images (radiographs or X-rays). It includes up to 3 follow ups via email, telephone, or videoconferencing.
Consultation includes review of medical records from multiple visits, digital images of cytology and/or histopathology results (if available), digital images of advanced imaging (ultrasound, CT scan, or MRI), serial lab reports, etc. Level 3 is also used planning and follow ups of chemotherapy patients.
